We're looking for two Business Development Managers to join Team D&H for the North of England and South West areas of the UK. If you are passionate about horses and have proven sales experience in the equine industry, we’d like to hear from you. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with both key retail accounts to drive sales and distribution as well as giving product recommendations to horse owners across all disciplines.
We like to work hard and have fun at D&H and whilst we are looking for the following requirements, the right personality and attitude is more important to us than specific qualifications and the salary package will be discussed according to experience and expertise.
The Requirements
Proven sales experience in the equine industry
Strong equine knowledge, ideally with existing relationships in professional and racing sectors
Flexible approach to working hours
Full driving licence
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Ability to prioritise with good time management skills
Self-motivated with a desire to exceed not just meet targets
Live in the Territory
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop an agreed geographical territory to deliver growth in sales, to include relationships with wholesale, retail and racing accounts
Product recommendations to horse owners in both professional and leisure sector on Yard and at Shows, Events and Sales
Highlight Business Development opportunities including new Customers and Product opportunities
Be part of the wider Team D&H and participate in Sales and Company meetings as required
Support wider Team D&H if required and travel out of area if necessary
