To assist in the protection and promotion of The British Horse Society’s reputation among internal and external audiences and other key stakeholder groups; keeping them well-informed and engaged through all available channels. Assist the Editorial Content Manager in acting as a guardian of the BHS’s brand standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all communications. To assist in creating content that achieves desired objectives and outcomes in pursuit of our brand advocacy, stakeholder satisfaction and commercial objectives.
Requirements:
What you’ll be doing:
Writing and editing articles and features for the magazine and website
Proofreading webpages, emails, social media posts and other documents
Editing content to make sure it’s consistent with our brand tone of voice
Compiling, editing and building HTML emails
Analysing how different content works for different audiences
Helping to manage our communications and content calendars
Supporting other members of the Content and Engagement Team when needed
What you won’t be doing:
Extensive design work
Detailed video creation or editing
Regularly creating social media content
Significant administrative work

Hours: Our usual full-time hours are 35 a week – with an early finish on a Friday! We offer other flexible work options, such as compressed hours, which we’re happy to discuss.
