Job Description: Are you a horse enthusiast with a passion for retail and a talent for customer service? We have an exciting opportunity and are seeking an Equestrian Department Sales Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will become the trusted expert for our customers, offering product recommendations, addressing inquiries, and ensuring they enjoy a memorable shopping experience. Key Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism. • Utilise your equestrian knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance on product selection. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of equestrian equipment, clothing, and supplies. • Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their equestrian needs. • Handle customer enquiries, both in person, over the phone and by email • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. • Responsibilities will encompass maintaining a tidy area, restocking products, ensuring that no stock runs out, handling the picking of internet orders, and being accustomed to working efficiently in a busy shop environment • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations. • Work with marketing department to promote products and special offers though featuring in content for TikTok and Instagram. • Utilise spreadsheet skills, including Excel and Microsoft Suite, for inventory tracking and reporting. • Participate in ongoing training and product knowledge updates. • Qualifications: • Previous retail experience is required. • AMTRA qualification preferred but not essential • Extensive knowledge of equestrian products, equipment, and clothing is essential. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Suite. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. • Enthusiastic and approachable personality. • Ability to work Saturdays.
