Equestrian ECommerce Sales Assistant

Are you passionate about working within the Equestrian Business Community? We have an exciting full time opportunity within our in house sales team to provide additional support for our on line and retail sales, as well as being involved with a number of trade shows that we attend throughout the year. The role provides support to both Clippersharp and sister company, Smart Grooming. Attendance at several major shows including National Equine Show, Badminton, Burghley and Your Horse Live. About us Clippersharp specialises in providing a wide choice of equestrian clipper supplies, as well as having an in-house repair department and blade sharpening workshop. Established in 1994, Clippersharp offers a high level of service, and is an established brand serving the equine, veterinary, pet grooming and farming industry. Clippersharp and Smart Grooming are situated in a rural, but accessible location 10 minutes from Junction 26 and 27 of the M5. Their offices, workshop and retail outlet share the same premises, a short distance from the village of Culmstock. Job Role: • To provide sales support within our small, busy sales team • Responsibility for ensuring daily orders are processed, picked and packed. • Providing excellent customer follow up and care as well as being able to answer queries, both in shop as well as by email and telephone. • Have excellent keyboard skills as well as be familiar with office systems including Microsoft, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Canva. • Website updates, including stock levels, imagery and text. • Ensure brand consistency across social channels. • Attend equestrian trade shows including Your Horse Live, Badminton Horse Trials, Burghley and the National Equine Show. • A varied and interactive job role. • Full in-house training Key Skills: • Confident, helpful attitude with a professional approach within a busy office environment. • Office system skills, including Microsoft, Adobe, Excel, Canva. • Familiarity with Shopify or similar ecommerce sites. • Have systematic and thorough working approach to all tasks. • Self-motivated with time conscious goals. • Excellent verbal, written and keyboard skills. • Equestrian background required with practical grooming and clipping skills an advantage. • Quick thinker with the ability to present new ideas. • Full Driving License • Team player Qualifications/Suitability: This role would suit a marketing or business graduate looking to geta foot hold into the Equestrian Business world or who have had previous experience in a similar sales role. This is an interesting role for someone that wants to be part of a small, fun, sales team. Both Clippersharp and Smart Grooming are well established within the equestrian business community and have a significant on-line presence. The successful applicant would need to be a motivated, cheerful, and well-presented individual with a love of all things equestrian and have a desire to learn new skills.
