EXCITING FLEXIBLE VARIED ROLE, SUIT SOMEONE WANTING TO LEARN ALL ASPECTS OF RACING/OFFICE WORK TOO.
We are recruiting for a Full Time VARIED ROLE ON National Hunt Racing Yard
(Racing Groom/PA/Gardening) type role to work on our National Hunt Racing Yard in Sussex.
Full Time 30-40 hours per week
Morning 8-12
Afternoon 3-5.30
Some kids drop off and pick ups to do evening weekdays ( FOOTBALL/YOUTH CLUB ETC)
Duties include:
All yard duties in the afternoon /evening stables
School Runs
Racing Office Work
Gardening ( optional)
Light house work ( helping keep office tidy etc, SOMETIMES IN HOUSE TOO, although we have a cleaner so not very often)
Bonus if you can drive a 3.5 tonne lorry
Full flexibility required. Hours change in school holidays .
1.5-2 days off a week ( one to be a weekend day, usually Sunday)
Must be happy, tidy, good work ethic, high standards around horse care etc
Opportunities to work with young horses, breaking Connemaras , showing and competing if experienced.

Salary, further training available if required, Accommodation Available. Flat over stable yard.
Overtime paid at time and a half. ( Over 40 hours)
30 days holiday per annum going up to 32 after a year to be taken between April and July
Accommodation
Accommodation Is available in a shared flat ( with one other) although empty at the moment, own separate bedroom with double bed, kitchen and bathroom may be shared with one other.
SORRY NO PETS
It may be an option to bring a horse after a 3month trial period
