Equine-assisted Therapist

We are a Yorkshire Dales family farming business that diversified into Care Farming in 2014 and home to The Rawthey Project CIC. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Equine-assisted Therapist at FARM & FELL LTD in Sedbergh. The Therapist will be responsible for conducting equine-assisted therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, working with clients and horses, and evaluating progress. The client groups include armed forces veterans and children with SEN. Additionally, the Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Qualifications • Equine-assisted Therapy, Counseling, and Psychology skills • Experience in developing treatment plans and conducting therapy sessions • Strong understanding of horse behavior and training techniques • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a team setting • Certification in Equine-assisted Therapy or related field • Experience working with diverse clients
