Equine Groom Apprenticeship

What you will do in your working day A position has become available at a wonderful event yard. The location has 22 stables, outdoor school, round pen, horse walker, jumping fields, off road hacking and much more. You will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team on a daily basis. You have the opportunity to travel to events and groom at shows. This is mainly a non-ridden role as most of the horses on site are for sale but the opportunity to hack and walk off the horses etc for a competent rider. All general yard duties required including:- • Mucking Out • Turning Out • Grooming • Lunging The training you will be getting You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine Apprenticeship with the employer at the employers premises and supported by Haddon Training. Haddon Training will also support you in completing Functional Skills maths and/ or English if required. What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship For the right candidate there could be the opportunity to progress to the Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship
