As a result of the development of our business we have a vacancy for a Full Time Equine Groom to join us here at our family run friendly Racehorse Bloodstock Yard here at Brampton near Torksey in North Lincolnshire.
We have on site around 50 horses including Race Broodmares in foal, foals , yearlings, National Hunt store horses that we bring on for sale, retired racehorses and our own active racehorses that come home for a break or rehab. All the horses in the yard are owned by ourselves.
The position is Tuesday - Saturday each week, 8.00 am - 4 pm.
The pay is £12 per hour , under 20’s start on £10.
On site Accommodation is available.
The job is carrying out general yard duties, including mucking out, grooming, handling young horses , turning out horses to grass, helping to maintain paddocks and the yard and ensuring high standards of housekeeping, sales prep and attending sales.
Experience of working with horses is essential and even better if you have experience of working with brood mares , foals or racehorses.
You must be conscientious, hard working, outgoing and have a positive attitude to work .
Pay: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
