An opportunity has arisen for an organised and reliable, full-time secretary to join our dedicated Referrals Office secretarial team.
Newmarket Equine Hospital is a clinical centre of excellence with a large and complex case load, therefore the role will suit someone who is highly motivated with the ability to prioritise and an outstanding attention to detail.
Duties will include:
Typing of reports and insurance certificates
Answering the telephone
Diary management – appointment administration
Client management – in person and on the telephone
Data input onto the practice management system
Supporting colleagues; covering their work when required
General office duties e.g.: Filing, scanning, copying
The successful candidate will possess previous secretarial experience, excellent communication skills and be competent with Microsoft IT.
Some understanding of the equine industry would be advantageous.
