The role of Equine Hydrotherapist supports the daily operation of the state-of-the-art equestrian treatment facility at Keysoe International.
This role will support in delivering treatment and rehabilitation programmes assigned to each competition horse at Keysoe International.
About You:
To follow treatment or rehab plans created by the Sports Vet under the instruction of the Equine Therapy Coordinator by introducing horses to a multitude of therapeutic treatments including but not limited to; salt room, equine hydrotherapy, laser treatment, ultrasound use, gait analysis
Maintain records to map progression in line with training or rehab plans
Awareness of horse behavior and confident to handle a variety of temperaments
Communicate regularly with the appropriate stakeholder over any development, changes or progress made to horses receiving treatment
Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed ensuring a safe working environment.
About you:
Qualified and experienced in Equestrian Hydrotherapy
Preferably experienced in the use of ultrasound, hydrotherapy, bandaging and salt room use
Experience of working alongside vets and other professional services
Very good eye for detail, demonstrable knowledge of horse physiology and anatomy
Awareness of equine discipline and demands
Strong communicator
