Saracen Horse Feeds are looking for a dynamic and passionate person to join the team at their head office in Aylesford, and are looking to recruit a Full Time Nutrition Advisor to join their busy nutrition helpline team
Main duties will involve
Supporting the nutritional helpline alongside our experienced equine nutrition advisors, replying to Feed Advice Forms and nutritional enquiries.
Social media nutrition support and helping the marketing team with nutritional content
Supporting the team with new product development projects and with new ingredient/nutrient research
Attending trade stand to provide nutritional advice & support Nationwide
Proactively seek out training and development opportunities within equine nutrition or manufacturing
Create and maintain a quarterly reporting pack for feed line for board.
Continuous improvement of feed line to increase effectiveness and increase customer satisfaction
Provide nutritional support to the Technical Nutrition Team when required
Manage the customer database to provide insight to the board
The ideal candidate
Relevant education would be advantageous, ideally degree or graduate level, but full training will be given to the correct applicant
Ideally experienced in a similar role
Knowledge of the Equine industry
Nutritionally and technically competent
Ability to work on their own and from own initiative but also able to work as part of a fun and friendly team
To be confident in client and colleague communication and be willing to develop these skills with an ability to presentation to internal and external audiences
Organised and have exceptional customer service skills
Ability to multi-task
