Role:
Colne Saddlery are seeking a proactive Retail Shop Assistant. This role requires an individual with a confident sales manner to interact with a well established customer base. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for promoting Colne Saddlery and its products.
Main Responsibilities:
· Shop floor; serving customers on a daily basis
· Assisting with Stock Management
· Fitting Safety Garments (full training will be provided)
. Pricing and unpacking deliveries
What are we looking for:
· Equine knowledge and experience essential, with a current understanding of products in the market.
. Retail experience preferred
· Be numeracy and IT proficient as you will need to adapt to use our inhouse epos system to control stock, process customer orders.
· Able to use the suite of Microsoft office products
· A good communicator to interact with customers and enjoy the relationship established with them
· Positive professional attitude, someone who can work well with a diverse small team
· Highly organised and capable of multi-tasking, happy to deal with what ever the day throws at you!
