Job description
A vacancy for a retail sales and admin assistant to join the small team in a busy equestrian store.
Main duties to include:
• Promoting the store and products on social media
• Updating our website and stock management system for new products and price changes
• Answering telephone and email enquiries
• Serving customers
• Assisting with purchasing
• Unpacking deliveries (manual handling up to 25kg required)
• Clean and maintain shop displays and merchandising
Key attributes required:
• Sales and marketing experience including social media and ecommerce
• Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service
• Great attention to detail
• Highly motivated towards achieving goals and targets
• Good equine knowledge and be keen to develop a thorough understanding of our products including undertaking training to provide specialist advice and fitting services
• A friendly, positive and enthusiastic team player but also able to work on own
• Honest, punctual and reliable and able to multitask
• Own transport essential due to location
• Available to work up to 5 days per week, 9am - 5pm, to include Saturday
