Full or part time, permanent. Must be able to work Sundays & Mondays. Hours: Up to 45 hours per week. Shift pattern to include Sundays & Mondays. Typically 8am – 6pm. Pay: Based on age and experience We are looking for an enthusiastic person with experience in equine care and animal care to join our friendly team. Equine experience is essential for this position. As an Equine Supervisor, you will be responsible for the care of our equines including all weekly horse notes, stabling management, grass and feed management and weekly exercise programme. You will work with the Farm Park manager and take responsibility to ensure all care plans are delivered to a high standard as agreed and that records are well maintained. Ensuring all equine records are kept up to date and to promote the highest standards of equine care in addition to all other animals. You must have great communication skills, knowledge of equine care and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The Farm Park is open all year-round offering a unique mix of friendly animals, indoor play, outdoor adventure and farm activities. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality and fun filled day out, creating memorable family moments. An exciting programme of special events runs throughout the year including our popular Easter, Halloween and Christmas events. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: · Deliver the highest standard of equine and animal care ensuring individual animals needs are met. Tasks to include feeding, watering, sweeping, mucking out and performing health checks. · Deliver excellent customer care by going above and beyond to exceed our visitors’ expectations in line with company values. · Ensure high levels of Farm Park presentation, maintaining our high standards of cleanliness at all times, ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors · Deliver safe and inspiring educational tours · Follow routines and daily jobs schedules as directed by the Manager on Duty · Ensure that play and activity supervision is conducted in line with our safe working procedures. · Support colleagues in other business areas. The ideal candidate will have: Enthusiasm and passion for working with animals and children A positive attitude to working in a team Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skills Experience with equines (essential) Some experience driving farm vehicles (preferred, not essential) Some experience working with children (preferred, not essential) All applicants must be fluent in English.
