A varied role including handling horses as well as office work.
Reception duties including;
answering the telephone, responding to emails, booking client appointments, diary management, taking client payments, invoicing clients, cashing up and submitting daily takings. Maintaining and updating client details on the practice computer system, creating treatment estimates, uploading lab reports and radiographs.
Some laboratory work including biological samples.
Equipment maintenance.
Cleaning of surgical instruments and equipment
Ordering and maintaining stock levels including stock in vets cars
Assisting with full practice stock takes
Taking any items to be posted at the end of a day
Assisting the vets when required including handling horses, general yard and paddock duties.
Liaising with other practices, drug representatives and external laboratories.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £17,945.00-£23,878.00 per year

Education:
• GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
• Equine: 1 year (required)
