We are recruiting for a part time experienced and well organised Equine Technician/Events Coordinator to join the team at our Common Leys Farm campus.
This is an exciting post, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to work on our yard, with a range of horses to include broodmares and young stock, as well as riding school horses and liveries. The role will involve coordinating our equine events that we host and run throughout the year, and you will be supporting our equine students to develop a high level of employability skills by overseeing their duties on the yard. You should be qualified to a minimum of level 3 in a recognised Equine subject and have recent experience of working within the Equine Industry or on a College Yard/Competition Centre.
You must enjoy working with young people and be confident working with and supervising students in routine duties and practical horse husbandry tasks. The role is part time and includes working weekends. You would be part of a dedicated, flexible team of lecturers, instructors, technicians and support staff based at the farm.
