The Horse Trust is a charity dedicated to providing high quality training to resident horses, considering all their needs and working at the individual horse’s own pace.
Main Responsibilities:
• Working with young horses and ponies, unhandled horses and horses with challenging behaviours under the direction of the Veterinary Surgeon, Behaviourist and Director of Training
• Undertaking admin and record keeping as required
• Undertaking general horse care and husbandry tasks
• Communicating with internal and external professionals
• Supporting the delivery of training materials to internal and external audiences such as members of the grooms and emergency responders
Essential Criteria:
• Practical experience in handling and working with different horses
• Knowledge of horse behaviour and body language
• Demonstrating tasks and giving feedback to others
• Openness to new ideas and to continually develop
• A passion for a horse centred approach to training
• A supportive team player
• Ability to use basic Microsoft programs
Desirable Criteria:
• Experience working with young horses
• Experience training people and sharing knowledge

Based: Speen, Buckinghamshire
Salary Range: c. £18,000.00-£26,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours: 40 Hours per week.
Annual Leave: 25 days per year plus bank holidays.
