Juddmonte is a leading international horseracing and thoroughbred breeding enterprise with farms in the UK, Ireland and USA; owner-breeder of over 100 Group/Grade 1 winners including Frankel, Enable & Kingman.
We are seeking two conscientious individuals to primarily monitor the welfare of our bloodstock in the evenings and overnight, whilst also patrolling our 1500-acre Estcourt Estate near Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
We have two positions available:
• The first is on a permanent contract, equating to 28 hours per week; Monday – Thursday 18:00-21:00, and Thursdays and Fridays 22:00-06:00. Whilst this would be the ideal shift pattern, we are able to offer some flexibility for the right candidate.
• The second is to provide absence cover on an ad hoc/casual basis.
The successful applicants will possess the following attributes:
• Self-motivated and enjoy working on their own.
• Physically able to carry out the role in all weather conditions.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
These roles would suit individuals who have some equine experience. Familiarity with working nights would also be advantageous.
