What you will do in your working day
The successful candidate's duties will be as followed:
• General horse care duties
• Lunging
• Mucking Out
• Turning Out
• Grooming
Opportunities are available to groom at competitions and to travel.
The training you will be getting
All training for the apprenticeship will take place at the employer's premises, with the support of the employer, and will be delivered by Haddon Training.
Equine Groom Level 2.
Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and take the test for level 2 English and maths prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
After completion of the apprenticeship, there is a possibility to enrol onto the advanced apprenticeship (level 3) or permanent employment for the right candidate.
