Due to an increase in horse numbers we have a vacancy here at Sharon Hunt Equestrian for a full time team member on a busy competition and livery yard. We have a beautiful yard in a wonderful location, by Quainton hill but near many towns and competition centres (15 minutes from the reopened Addington) We currently have showjumpers and dressage horses including liveries, plus young homebreds. We are looking for a full time team member for 5 days per week which will naturally include some weekend work. Our usp is that we have a very high attention to detail, having successfully evented at top and Olympic level these values are carried through to all in our team in all aspects. I have a huge passion for achieving the best possible result for each horse. Each horse is treated as an individual to maximise performance. We have a strong team ethos of commitment and consciousness to the horses and each other. The role includes the usual daily duties for example feeding, tacking up, mucking out etc plus the opportunity to hack and groom at lessons and shows. Riding is available subject to experience. We also have an equine spa so this role might interest someone who has experience of using these or who would like to learn more about rehabilitation and improving physical performance . Equally this role might suit a keen trainee who would like to lean all aspects of care for competition horses. Ideally a live in position- Accommodation is available, a lovely self contained annex. Usual hours 7.00-5.30 with exceptions on competition or extraordinary days!
