Excellent opportunity for an experienced, organised, and professional individual to join our friendly yard, caring for horses. The ideal person would need to be knowledgeable, intuitive, friendly and have a passion for animals and for animal welfare. Ideal candidate needs to be patient and calm around animals, willing to learn and have a high standard of care and turnout. The role involves a range of activities such as feeding, grooming, mucking out, turning in/out, overseeing medications, tacking up and other general yard duties. Good knowledge of horse care and ability to spot early signs of illness and injury is crucial The role entails collaborating with the owner, but also at times on your own so requires someone who is highly dependable, self-motivated and proactive. Former yard experience necessary Weekdays Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8.30am – 11.00. You may be required to work some weekends.
