As a BHS Where to Train Centre, BRC take your development seriously and will support you financially with exams and ensure you get the training you need.

We are looking for a full-time (5 days) or part-time (Minimum 3 days) equine groom to join our yard.
About the job:
You will be responsible for the daily horse and yard care, this includes but not limited to
– Mucking out, skipping & paddock cleaning
– Tacking up
– Tack cleaning
– Turning out
– Medical treatments/recovery
– Supporting vet & farrier
– Clipping & trimming
– Tidying/maintaining yard
– Lunging
– Riding (preferred but not required) – exercising/schooling all our riding school and livery horses and ponies
About you:
– Able to work as a team and individually
– Self-motivated
– At least 1 years’ experience of working with horses/livestock
– Equine qualifications – preferred but not required
– Valid UK Driver’s License – preferred but not required
You must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor work permits or visa for this role
On-site accommodation is available for full-time position. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate your own horse or pets, however we have many DIY/Part Liveries nearby that our staff use.
Our working hours
Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 6:00pm (30 minute breakfast break & 2 hour lunch)
Saturday to Sunday – 7:00am to 5:00pm (30 minute breakfast break & 1 hour lunch)
