Forest Lodge Stud is a small stud and livery yard near Wincanton with some of the best hacking in the South West.
We are seeking a Part-Time Groom to join our team in caring for our horses.
The role involves a combination of animal care and yard maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for horses including feeding, grooming, and handling
- Maintain cleanliness of animal living areas
- Assist with basic equipment such as quad bike
Requirements
- Experience in horse care is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge to quad bike and hand tools
- Ability to perform basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Must be organised, reliable, and able to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
