Breeding yard specialising in Irish Draught horses and Haflinger ponies.
Opportunity to ride if wanted but not essential although a keen rider will get many hours on horseback should they wish.
Could suit short term post for someone travelling but we would look for committment of 6 months minimum.
Within reason there are no time pressures. We pride ourselves in giving the horses the time it takes to allow the horses to develop into a kind and willing partner.
Tidy and organised a must as is hardworking.

Other Requirements
Must be fun loving and not take life too seriously. We have a job to do and demand the highest care for our horses but try to do so in an enjoyable easy going environment. Must be able to work alone. The handyman/farm maintenance ability is not essential but would be beneficial as we do already have full time farm workers on the yard. But with 1000 acres there are always outdoor jobs to be done and the applicant must realise there will be a certain amount of tidying up. The job is mainly horse work but there is also the yard work that comes with horses. We like to have a tidy farm.
Driving licence preferred. No dogs.
