Horse Admissions Coordinator

Burton Upon Trent
Office

The Horse Admissions Coordinator will be instrumental in streamlining our admissions process and maximising the number of horses we can help by 2026!

More About The Role of a Horse Admissions Coordinator.

In this key role, you'll go beyond streamlining the admissions process. You'll be ensuring every horse receives a smooth and efficient journey into our care. Your focus will be on prioritising their needs and finding them the perfect rehoming solution as quickly as possible.

As an Admissions Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in admissions. You'll ensure we admit the right number of horses into our services, both locally and across the network. This means maximising efficiencies while collaborating with colleagues to find the best possible homes for horses in need.

Your expertise will also be crucial in managing horse movement. You'll proactively manage the "refill" stage, ensuring horses are moved to the most suitable locations, whether onsite or through our network of offsite services as quickly as possible. Your decisions will be based on both horse needs and the availability of suitable homes.

While ensuring a smooth admissions process, you'll also prioritise excellent customer service. This means providing clear communication with clients, gathering all necessary information, and offering a positive and informative experience at every touchpoint.

At our Rolleston rehoming centre, we provide onsite accommodation for pets in our care 24/7. Overnight shifts are usually undertaken by team members who live on site. Occasionally, you will be expected to carry out night checks or stay in on site accommodation overnight when the resident team members are either not working or away for a period of time. These duties are organised on a local rota and shared between all members of the team.
