As a busy riding school we have a large number of horses to prepare for lessons and to provide after care for. We need someone who is skilled at tacking up a variety of horses in a range of tack and assisting riders as they prepare to mount and whilst getting on.
You must be confident with horses and with our clients who vary in age from 3 - 73yrs.
You must be attentive to the horses, know how to tack up correctly, with an excellent eye for detail and be engaging with our clients.
Hours to be agreed ( must include at least one weekend shift, a minimum of 4 hours).
Part time position in our busy office
We are looking for someone to work in the office, during the week with occasional weekend cover.
The job is varied although your primary role will be communication with our clients via email to responding to telephone calls and supporting our online booking service. An understanding of horses/ riding is important as are excellent communication skills.
We are looking for someone for 12-15 hrs per week; can be during school hours ( although you will need to be available during school holidays). Must be able to offer occasional weekend cover by arrangement.
The above jobs can be combined to create a full time job for the right person.
