Horse Riding Assistants link Exsportise & the contracted stables & instructors. They are responsible for ensuring the agreed programme is delivered successfully and to a high standard. Particular attention must be paid to the students’ safety, welfare & overall course enjoyment. Horse Riding Assistants will support students in all aspects of their daily routine while with us & fall under the Course Assistant category.

Main Roles & Accountabilities
(6-12 Course Assistants per venue):
• To understand the horse riding programme, as described in all Exsportise literature & ensure that this programme is correctly delivered to a high standard.
• To ensure student safety & well-being whilst off-site, including taking responsibility for student discipline.
• To provide assistance to the contracted stables.
• To ensure that any transport arrangements are made to take students to & from the stables (communicate with Administrators).
• To assist with looking after all Exsportise students & their well-being and happiness throughout their stay at camp.
• To assist with the evening events programme (and lead activities), which is organised and run by the Events Managers
• To supervise students on weekend excursions & assist with student arrivals and departures at airports / Eurostar station
• To carry out mealtime supervision, wake-up & bedtime duties on a rota basis
• To supervise students during break times
• To take camp photos and videos when required (never with own equipment) & assist with creating social media content.
• To support the Administrators & Events Managers with administrative duties as well as evening events preparations if required
• Help the camp to collate the weekly student feedback
• To be an active presence in the boarding houses outside of timetabled sessions (e.g. coaching sessions/ lessons/ evening events).
• Work together with all staff to monitor meal times to ensure students are in attendance, eating well, & integrating well with other students.
• To help set up / pack up camp as required
• To carry out any other reasonable duties

Contract length: 6 weeks
Pay: £540.00-£660.00 per week
