Horse Riding Co-ordinator
(part-time, term time only)

We are seeking someone with experience and a passion for horse riding to liaise with parents and pupils regarding implementation of the entirety of the horse riding provision at Roedean.
The successful candidate must be a confident and effective communicator and have strong IT skills.
Organisation and management of all horse riding lessons for pupils at Roedean School.
• To manage and support all competitive horse riders training schedules and competitions.
• To provide guidance and support to the girls during lessons.
• To accompany the girls from Roedean School to horse riding venue/s.
• To ensure that they have the correct equipment including; riding hats, boots, protective gear prior to
undertaking lessons – if competing, ensure that pupils have adequate competition gear.
• To organise inter-school horse riding competitions and to be the designated lead for all NSEA events and
competitions.
• To be in charge of organising transport and catering provision each week.
• To have a strong understanding of IT, in order for attendance to be tracked, and to log fixtures and results
on SOCS.
• To ensure riders are on the Equestrian booking system used by the external provider/s.
• To ensure that Safeguarding policies are followed and to make sure that equipment is checked and that
accidents are logged appropriately
Hours: 1pm – 3.30pm, Thursdays and 8.30am – 12.15pm, Saturdays.
Salary: £16.82 per hour.
