Are you an experienced HR professional with a positive, proactive attitude who loves to get things done and support a team? We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people management to join our team at Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing in Kensington. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources within our racing operation. You’ll be a key player in ensuring that our staff are supported, engaged, and well-equipped to perform at their best. If you’re a doer who enjoys jumping in and getting things done with a positive mindset, you’ll be a great fit for this role.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Recruitment and staffing to ensure we have the right team in place
Onboarding and offboarding of staff, ensuring a seamless experience
Acting as a liaison between staff and management, providing support and guidance
Managing payroll and ensuring accuracy
Rostering and ensuring the team is scheduled effectively
Delivering staff training and ensuring development opportunities are available
Arranging visa documentation and liaising with our migration agents
Coordinating parties and celebrations for our hard-working team

About You:
An experienced HR professional with a strong background in recruitment, payroll, and staff management
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
A positive, approachable, and 'can-do' person who is always ready to help and contribute
A strong communicator who can work well with both staff and management
Previous HR experience in a fast-paced environment is highly regarded
