About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing & Racing Executive to join our team at Wincanton Racecourse to achieve budgeted volume and revenue through the development and execution of local racecourse and fixture marketing plans, the ownership of the ticketing platform and the customer experience for racegoers and industry stakeholders.

The Marketing Executive will:
¨ Drive volume and revenue and own the development of local racecourse and fixture specific marketing strategies.
¨ Own the customer experience across the Racecourse.
¨ Deliver the execution of agreed company-wide long-term Brand, Marketing and Customer strategies through the region.
¨ Lead the development of and own all local racecourse & fixture -specific marketing spend plans.
¨ With guidance from the Digital marketing team ensure that the local website and app platforms stay fresh by updating content and customer journeys.
¨ In partnership with the national CRM, drive and develop local E Comms.
¨ Produce and post multi-platform social media content for use on local channels.
¨ Execute local communications in line with the wider small course teams.
¨ Support the development and execution of Conference & Events marketing plans to drive revenue.
About you
¨ Understand all key areas of the marketing mix including proposition, development, media planning and digital marketing execution.
¨ Previous experience in a marketing or customer facing role.
¨ Effective communicator capable of building relationships and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
¨ Up to date with current marketing techniques and industry news and an interest in Social Media content.
