We are seeking a Production Assistant to join our team in a friendly, family-run animal feed manufacturing business and arable farm in Norton. Standard working week of Mon-Thu 6:30am-4:30pm, Fri 6:30am -2:30pm. Overtime regularly available, and work-based training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading of lorries
- Operating manufacturing machinery
- Warehouse duties incl inventory management
- Supporting farming activities as required
Skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence is essential
- Industrial forklift licence is preferable but not essential
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Previous experience in an agricultural or manufacturing setting desirable but not essential
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
