Connolly’s RED MILLS are a 5th generation family business with a strong presence in the global equine feed, supplement and care markets. Due to our continued expansion and growth, we are actively searching for a new member for our highly successful UK Team. Key Responsibilities: Applicants must already reside within an easy commute of Newmarket and ideally should be able to demonstrate the following: • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Thoroughbred racing and breeding industry is essential • Highly motivated, preferably with a proven track record in sales • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Proactive in seeking out new sales opportunities and pragmatic problem solving • A personable, positive and professional manor when dealing with customers • The ability to build strong relationships with new and existing customers • Excellent organisational skills and time management • Ability to work alone, as well as part of a small team • Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office • A full, clean UK driving licence An understanding of equine feed/supplements would be advantageous, but training and on-going support will be provided.
