Ridings Equine Vets are searching for a Full or Part time Receptionist/Administrator to join our growing Practice based in Lumby, South Milford.
The purpose of this role is to deliver high levels of client care as part of an efficient and friendly office team and ensure the practice is financially efficient, providing administrative support for the effective smooth running of the office.
Animal welfare is at the heart of what we do, candidates will need to be adept at responding appropriately to a wide range of client emotions, whilst under pressure and often in emergency situations.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with exceptional attention to detail. You will have developed organisational and planning skills with the ability to work well under pressure whilst communicating effectively with both clients and colleagues. This role places a large emphasis on debt management therefore you must be comfortable calling clients to recover outstanding money.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Invoicing, debt management, insurance claim processing, answering incoming calls, answering all client queries via various mediums, booking appointments and generating prescriptions.
Knowledge of horse care is preferred but not essential for quick learners.
Requirements for the role:
Previous experience in administration/customer service
GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
UK driving licence and own car which you may be required to use for work purposes from time to time.

Full time position: 40hrs a week Mon-Fri including a paid lunch break with the addition of 1:4-6 Saturday mornings 9-12pm on a rota basis with time back in lieu.
Part time position: Hours negotiable Mon-Fri including a paid lunch break with the additional of a 1:4-6 Saturday mornings 9-12pm on a rota basis with time back in lieu.
