What we are looking for

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our team, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire.

This is an entry level role.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will proactively sell Ascot race day products by maximising business from new customers and growing relationship with existing customers, through an innovative approach and always delivering best experience to all our customers.

Our sales mission statement is: We aim to be “Best in Class”delivering an exemplary and motivational sales experience that adds value to the lives of our customers.
• Achieve sales targets and maximise sales through all sales channels
• To maximise revenue and profit through the implementation of as ales activity plan by proactive selling through a sales platform and use of commercial management techniques.
• Be fully responsible for the conversion of incoming enquiries to confirmed bookings
• To ensure all leads are contacted within 24 hours with an overall 80% conversion
• To research and identify new market and account opportunities
• Assist in preparing sales collateral and presentation materials including proposals
• Ensure the enquiry call process supports ARL delivery standard & KPI’s are achieved
• To maintain accurate records on prospects through the venue management system
• Actively participate in local networking groups and relevant trade bodies
• In conjunction with all relevant partners ensure that the levels of customer service are market leading
• Be actively involved when required in the race day hosting activities
• To continuously demonstrate The Ascot Way i.e. act as a role model through the Ascot values to provide the best possible customer service where delivery is always maintained

Other responsibilities
• Support Race days as applicable
• Such other duties as the Company may, at times, reasonablyrequired

• Able to use own initiative to find solutions to queries
