The Brae is a purpose-built Riding for the Disabled centre located on the outskirts of Dundee. We are looking for a new Yard Supervisor, who can join our team, and help to provide valuable, outstanding services to our participants. We have excellent facilities at the Brae – an indoor arena 60x30 with hoisting facilities, large outdoor arena, 10 ponies, and a mechanical horse. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to make a significant impact on our work and what we can offer our service users. We are looking for an energetic and positive individual, with experience looking after horses, and supervising a yard. You must be confident handling horses, have excellent people skills, be comfortable working with volunteers, and support the ethos of a voluntary organisation. You will be joining a team, passionate about RDA and prepared to go the extra mile to help provide life-changing, therapeutic equestrian activities for children and adults with disability and long term illness. Hours of work are 20 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday 8.30 - 12.30 Salary will be according to National Living Wage rates.
