Trainee Equine Airfreight Sales Assistant

Intradco is specialist air charter service, which focus on Equine and other live animal charters and scheduled freight movements. We are looking for a Trainee Equine Sales Assistant that will be responsible for assisting to develop new business and arrange operational details in relation to scheduled horse flights. Key roles include: • To assist and take on all operational duties in relation to managing flights from point of sale to actual shipment. • To work within the Intradco team to develop the Intradco product offered to the client base with a high level of customer service. • To Assist with Sales & Development of scheduled sectors across the global market Person specification: • Highly desirable for the candidate to have worked with or has strong knowledge of the equine industry as a whole, advantageous have knowledge of equine transport but not essential. • A related qualification in Equine, again not essential but advantageous. • Maintains a calm disposition and positive outlook particularly when working under pressure • Ability to think creatively and find solutions when faced with problems. • A ‘can do’ attitude is a must. • Flexibility to change working hours and patterns if necessary. • Trustworthy in all aspects of the role. • Self- motivated and able to work with high degree of autonomy. • A full appreciation of the value of co-operation, both internationally and within a team environment. • Tenacious and willing to keep trying in challenging situations. • Adaptable and responds well to change.
